Provisional registrations point to the biggest Gymnaestrada ever

Provisional registration figures for the upcoming edition of the Gymnaestrada point to a new participation record, with more than 21.500 participants already registered.

The event will take place in July, in Lisbon, Portugal, bringing together gymnasts and supporters from five continents and around 50 countries for one of the world’s largest celebrations of Gymnastics for All.

Among the countries with the highest number of registered participants are Switzerland, Germany and Portugal, which leading as the largest delegations.

The provisional registration suggests that this edition is set to reach an unprecedented scale, bringing together thousands of participants in Lisbon and across Portugal for a week of gymnastics, cultural exchange and international friendship.

With registrations still ongoing, the final numbers could increase further, raising expectations that Portugal is set to host the biggest Gymnaestrada ever.
